Q. visitor asked, yeah, I am looking for a monitor that I can afford, my budget is around $150, but I am unsure what I can get for that much...

Micheal T.
Welcome to NewEgg, I'm Mike! How can I help? Are you checking out our gaming monitors?
yeah, I am looking for a monitor that I can afford, my budget is around $150, but I am unsure what I can get for that much...
Micheal T.
Sure let me see
I'm just looking for a starting monitor, When I make some more money I can buy something more, "advanced"
Micheal T.
This is a good start. 24inch, low resolution and its benq too.
oh wow, this looks cool!
hmm... well... Is there something that has better resolution? I can go up to $200 if i need to, Sure its a start, but I want something that can last awhile.
Micheal T.
Ah ok, there are some 2k but that's more refurbished. the 1920x1080 is standard for a lot of gaming. Going higher, let me see
This would be that one, anything higher than the standard starts to hit more.
hmm... this looks pretty good.
I have a quick question
Micheal T.
sure
there is a company that makes some of my favorite computer parts. Thier name is MSI. their the ones that made the "MSI MSI Gaming 970 Gaming AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard" Nice looking video cards, do they make Monitors as well?
Micheal T.
They don't they make all in one computers, not monitors by itself.
aww. okay. I hate to bother you from doing other stuff so if you want I can keep looking for things myself. or we can look at some other stuff if you arn't busy. ha your probably like "Wow this guy..." But I just want to find a good monitor and possibly some nice but cheap pc parts.
Micheal T.
Haha I'm glad to help. What other parts were you looking into?
well, a good video card, there is one made by MSI that I really want but it is sold out and they are probably not going to sell anymore of them on newegg, It was around like $169, here I'll pull up the name give me one sec...
Micheal T.
The MSI gtx 950 series?
MSI Radeon R9 380 R9 380 GAMING 4G LE 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support ATX Video Card
Micheal T.
Ah the radeon cards
yeah
sold out though... cry :-(
to be honest, it was a bit pricey anyways. is there a card that is around $99.99?
but a nice card
Micheal T.
Hmm let me see
if its a bit over its fine
so far the MSI Radeon R9 380 R9 380 GAMING 4G LE 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support ATX Video Card was the best one I saw
what kinds of games do you play btw?
Micheal T.
I play a lot. Dota, CSGO, fallout lately. Been away from MMOs not too much time
ah, I would love to play Fallout 4, but my previous computer fell off my desk and broke... which I am still mad about but It was not that great anyways... but still the thought of it breaking makes me a little... >:-(. but yeah. anyways I currently play CSGO on my laptop, but that's about it.
I need to build a new pc soon or the nukelear fallout will start in my house. Ha ha ha, xD just kidding but still, need to build a pc
oops, Nuclear, not nukelear
Micheal T.
Haha, yeah, bit tough though if you pick up the gtx 950. That is a great step and card that can handle a lot of modern games.
really? how much is it?
Micheal T.
It's about 160. Really comparable to the radeon one you mentioned.
Here's a sample
oh wow! Its made by MSI!
umm... about the youtube thing... I am currently at school useing a chrome book which blocks youtube. sorry, forgot to mention that xD, I'll look it up when I get home though
Micheal T.
Ah gotcha yeah take a look. That's huge for budget gaming too.
but this looks great!
dang, this looks really nice! My friend will be so jealous. He only has the MSI Radeon R9 380 R9 380 GAMING 4G LE 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support ATX Video Card. But This seems a bit better
okay, added to wishlist!
Micheal T.
Awesome! Yeah the gtx 900 series are a huge jumping in gaming.
how about power supplies? My friend suggested the CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply but.... I dunno, does not seem to worth $64 to me
Micheal T.
Ah actually it is pretty worth. Plenty of psu for future upgrades or just keep using it. And bronze certified isn't that bad, helps for efficiency.
really? Wow, nevermind then
oh crap! I gtg, is there a possibility that We can speak again? I am also looking for a good processor as well.
Micheal T.
Ooh ok, just come back to chat and ask for me if I'm around
okay, heres my email if you need it, cjym@hotmail.com
before I go my friend suggested the AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W FD8350FRHKBOX Desktop Processor, but its $170
is there a better/less expensive one?
Micheal T.
Ah ok, it's a great cpu really. Good budget and up there. For less expensive, there is an amd 8150. around 150. Look for AMD cpu they are cheaper and you'll still want it in the 8000s number for a decent one and you won't fall behind.
oh okay sweet
gtg man, see you later
Micheal T.
awesome look for the 8120 or 8320 cpu.
Come back to chat anytime
