Hello! Welcome to Leisure Pro!
HI! How are you today?
Good
good to hear :-)
What can I do for you?
what would be a good light for a beginner diver who is about to experience night diving?
I've got a couple of ideas :-) What kind of budget do you have in mind?
As in, I don't know whether I would like it or not
ok
so I don't want to invest too much money on it
Ok
I've got two ideas. One is more expensive than the other, but I will pull them both up for ya :-)
Can I have just one moment to do this?
sure
:-)
This is the first and least expensive
Its actually the light that I use as my primary and it works wonderfully
Take a moment to check it out, while I pull up the other one

This is the second light I would recomment
recommend
It has a lot more lumens, but its also double the price
Speaking from experience though, I would go with the first one
For night diving, is it better to have a more powerful or less powerful beam?
Generally the more lumens the better, but that first one even though it only has 125 lumens shines as bright as a higher powered one
The SL3 LED's are awesome in it
I've used mine cavern diving and night diving
Is strobe necessary?
No
I've only had 2 dives so far, would you recommend whether it is safe for me to try night diving, or should I get more experience first?
honestly, I would gather more experience first
The first night dive is kinda scary. I've been there. I had many more dives on me when I did my first night dive and I went with an instructor
I see...
Who are you going with?
About the lights, I've read that less powerful lights means you can see more, is this true?
I haven't heard that before
University club members
Oh ok
So you are already certified and have had 2 dives after your certification?
yes
OK. How comfy do you feel in the water?
It was alright, apart from difficulty submerging.
OK
I think I was breathing normally. Both partners were pleased that they could stay underwater for so long, which apparently was surprising for a beginner
Well thats good, sounds like you've got good breathing technique
Honestly, every person is different
If I were you I'd get the cheaper light, it works well as a primary
But if you ever want to get a bigger more powerful light you can always purchase one and use the current light as a back up
And if you decide night diving isn't for you you won't be out too much money
Good idea
:-)
Thank you so much for your help!
XD
You're very welcome!
Glad to help, anytime
Do you plan on buying it today?
Cheers!
:-)
Not yet
OK
The next night diving is scheduled for next next Thursday
Ok
So I have a lot of time to decided
Ok! :-)
Have a great day!
=D
Same to you!
And Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas~
Bye =)
:-)
And thanks again!
