Hello there, my name is Jason - I will be happy to help you with any equipment questions you may have.
Hi, how are you today?
Great. Looking for a dive computer compatable with Mac
ok, great.
can yo u tell me a little more?
Are you looking for a wrist computer?
I have a MacBook Pro and would like to be able to load my dives into software rather than a paper log
I understand
wrist or portable on a tether would be fine
ok wrist or console right?
Do you have a brand preference?
not sure
Do you have a particular budget?
would like a good one that won't cost a fortune. Under $200 if possible?
wow, ok
Let me pull up what I have.
Can you give me a minute?
Thank you
Hi. Jason had to go help another customers so I'll be assist you
can you let me rad through this conversation for just a moment?
I own a mac too
so I know just the cmputer for you :-)
what do you use>
I use a Suunto with their movescount program
it is available on their website for download
would you like to see some good suunto computers?
what type of diving do you do?
Do you want a wrist mount?
wrist or tethered is fine
oh ok
do you want air integration?
doesn't have to be
this will really raise the price up significantly
oh ok
are you on a budget for this purchase?
ease of use is most important
oh...Suunto will be perfect for you then
are you into tech diving?
nitrox or air though
no problem
That one looks good. I will do some reading on these. Thanks
here are two suunto computers I suggest you look into
can i tell you the differences between them?
and help you narrow down which to get?
the Suunto Zoop comes with a luminous background
so when you hold a light up to it, it will glow
with the Vyper, there is a backlight so it's a little easier to use
Do you do a lot of night diving?
not really. mostly daylight diving
I think the zoop would be the way to go then
i have at least 5 friends that own the zoop
they love it
Thank you very much for your help
would you like me to show you the link to Suunto's movescount program?
just a moment please :-)
the Suunto DM4 is what you ill use to track your dive profiles
it is the second link I have posted here
the zoop gets great reviews and it's easy to use with the Mac
are there any other questions I can answer for you today?
not right now. I'm good and will read up with the choices you have provided.
