my nae is Scott, I am getting my PADI Divemaster soon and I need a new octopus because my other was was on loan from my instructor. what would you recommend?
That's great, congrats!
Do you have a budget in mind?
Or a brand that you prefer?
I am thinking anything below 100 would be great, considering it isnt my primary regulator, I am hopingtonot spend a fortune
Okay
and I prefer cressi and have the Ellipse primary, but the cressi ellipse octo you have is a bit much for me
We have a great sale on this Cressi right now
alright, I'll check it out. Thank you very much
You're welcome, please feel free to leave the chat open while you look at it
do you still have the sherwood octo that you can move postions of the mouthpiece?
I'm not familiar with that one
Do you know how long ago you saw that one?
it was over the summer and the mouthpiece could be either in the regular position(like the cressi picture) or it could be in line with the hose
We do not currently have one like that
Are you maybe thinking of one that is also connected to a BCD inflator hose?
ok. Do you have any personal opinion on the Cressi XS octo?
and no, it did not connect to the BCD
I have used it on demo before and it breathed easily, and right now we have a pretty good sale on it. Cressi it a great brand that is dependable
what about the oceanic slimline ocot?
That's also a great choice and will be less bulky than the XS
ok, that would be nice. any opinions from use of that one?
I felt that they breathe the same and it's nice that they are not so bulky
