Niki M.
Hi, my name is Niki and I'm here to help you with your dive equipment questions today.
Hi, how are you?
hi
How can I help with the MK25?
could you explain me the difference between the MK25/S600 and the MK25/S200 DIN?
The S600 is an improved regulator.
On the image the 2nd stages look different
It's a higher quality version that they worked on increasing how easily its breathable.
It's also better for cold water diving than the 200 version.
sorry
its the difference between S600 Din and S600 only
Are you planning on cold diving?
Oh ok. I'm sorry.
Do you want DIN or Yoke?
Scubapro MK25/S600 Regulator
The one without the DIN is the Yoke version.
on the website you have MK25/S600 regulator, DIN and MK25/S600 Regulator (without the DIN)
ok, so its yoke
Correct.
and what about the image? The second stages look different
Candidly, our images aren't always accurate representations of the product.
The second stages on these are the same.
I'm sorry about the confusion.
ok, but should they look the same?
ok
and for sure if I buy online I'm gonna receive the latest version of it?
They should look the same and if you buy online, you will receive the latest S600 second stage
Fine
One more thing
do you know if its possible to buy online and take the product on the store?
With Leisure Pro, should you have any dissatisfaction with your product, please return it to us.
Are you asking if you can purchase online and pick up in store?
Unfortunately, we don't have that capability.
However, our shipping is fast and you'd receive it quickly.
I see
I don't really understand the differences between DIN and YOKE
Does that help?
I'd be happy to explain
yes it does
:-) Give me just a moment to see if I can find an illustration
ok
Also tell me the pros and cons
I don't see a picture that shows what I want, but it's just the way your regulator attaches to the tank.
If the o-ring is in the regulator, it's a DIN. If it's on the tank, it's a Yoke.
I see
It's really just a matter of preference.
I think most rental gear is compatible with either.
Is there one that is more accepted? If I go diving all over the world which one would have less compatibility problems?
Yoke is more common in US, DIN is more common in Europe.
I would buy Yoke.
That helps a lot!
Thank you!
You're welcome.
Were you planning a purchase today?
My family is going to NY between the 23rd and 27th of november
We do have a shop there.
Yes I know, but I'm planning to buy it online and ask to deliver it to their hotel
That sounds good!
We're Brazilians, I prefer shopping online to make sure I do it right
I understand.
But I'm just a bit worried about getting it on time that's why I asked about picking up on the store
We don't ship to Brazil, so it's great that you'll be here.
Our orders leave the next business day and shipping is fast.
The free shipping says it up to 7 days
right?
It does, however, it goes out the next day and would only be from NY to NY.
And usually how long does it take to deliver to NY?
Less than 3 days typically.
good, thanks
good work!
